WHAT TO EXPECT

After meeting your guide at the designated location, head for Keukenhof Gardens. Take in the breathtaking scenery as you go through the bulb flower region surrounding Lisse in the Dutch countryside. When you arrive at Keukenhof Gardens, take a guided walk to see themed gardens and flower sculptures while you stroll among acres of vivid tulips, daffodils, and hyacinths.

Next, enjoy a drive through the tulip fields surrounding the towns of Noordwijkerhout, Hillegom and Lisse where you will stop at a tulip farm to pick your own tulips and get closer to the rows of tulips for stunning pictures. You will visit a museum and find out more information about the tulipmania of the 17th century.

SCENIC DRIVE

We begin your tour with a lovely ride through the bulbflower area in Lisse, which is only a short ride from Amsterdam. Depending on the season, a landscape with vibrant carpets of bulbflowers in nearly every color you can think of is visible. 

KEUKENHOF

Next, we head to the park Keukenhof, which is the tour’s real highlight. Situated in the heart of South Holland’s tulip area, the Keukenhof was once just a vegetable and herb garden. Today, it is home to some 800,000 tourists annually and holds the title of largest flower garden in the world. Millions of bulbs are planted in the 32 hectares of gardens and 15 kilometers of walkways throughout this visit. The grounds are covered in a multitude of vividly colored spring bulbs, including tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, and others. Explore the historical garden, the Japanese garden, and the English garden. Admire the floral sculptures, which are based on a yearly theme.

At the Keukenhof Gardens, you will receive your skip-the-line entrance tickets which are included in this excursion. Before entering, the tour guide or your driver/guide will provide an introduction to Keukenhof and the story behind it. You can then self-explore the gardens and pavilions at your leisure. TULIP FARM VISIT

Visit a tulip farm, experience and enjoy the tulip fields, show garden, museum and even pick-you-own-tulips.
Step into the wonderful world of tulips, daffodils and hyacinths. Tulips have a magical attraction to people and we would like to share our love for these beautiful flowers with you. During the visit you will learn about the growing process of the bulb and the flowering of this fascinating flower: the tulip.
The flower that everyone loves and loves to take pictures with. Of course, you will have ample opportunity to take those coveted photos between and of the flowers. An experience to capture forever.

NOORDWIJKERHOUT, HILLEGOM AND LISSE

Enjoy a drive through the tulip fields surrounding the towns of Noordwijkerhout, Hillegom and Lisse. This region is one of the major tulip-growing areas in the Netherlands, and the most popular region for visitors from around the world.

Your tour guide or driver guide will stop at strategic points for iconic pictures close to the tulip fields and for you to take in all the splendour of the surrounding countryside. A beautiful route with rows of multicoloured flowers; daffodils, tulips, and hyacinths among others. An unforgettable experience awaits you.

LAST STOP OPTIONAL

The tour ends at the designated departure location. However, you may also end this day tour with a 1-hour canal cruise in Amsterdam at a special rate. Please inquire.
