The itinerary crafted by 360 Amsterdam was not just a list of attractions; it was a carefully curated exploration of history, culture, and beauty. We explored the historical heart of Amsterdam, marveled at the masterpieces in the Van Gogh Museum, and embarked on enchanting canal tours that revealed the city’s charm from a unique perspective. The inclusion of lesser-known gems like The Pooenboot and the breathtaking Keukenhof gardens added layers of richness to our journey.
Venturing beyond Amsterdam, we were treated to an array of delights including visits to Saan Zaans, where we immersed ourselves in Dutch traditions, indulged in cheese tasting that awakened our palates, and explored the vibrant cities of The Hague and Rotterdam. The quaint towns of Delft and Giethoorn provided enchanting glimpses into Dutch life that will linger in our memories for years to come.

Our driver guide, Michael, was very engaging, a delightful person to spend the day with, and by the end of the tour, we felt we had known him our whole lives as we had lots of laughs and fun along the way. A highlight was getting a private demonstration of making Delft at the De Candelaer. A very special visit as I was on a mission to purchase a piece and knowing it was from a small custom shop, makes it even more cherished! An added highlight was having lunch in the town of Delft with Michael at a restaurant he was familiar with and enjoying our conversation. This day truly made our trip to The Netherlands complete with all of our key interests covered and spending the day with a great guy!
We would HIGHLY recommend 360Tours, you and Michael to anyone looking for an excellent company to work with and an excellent Guide!

What to see and experience
Are you looking to explore a little bit of the Dutch countryside, tulip fields and nearby cities such as Rotterdam, The Hague, Delft, Volendam among others while visiting Amsterdam, but are unsure about where to go or how to get there?
The Netherlands is well-known for its quaint villages, dikes, and windmills. The Dutch countryside offers a completely distinct experience that will make your trip to the Netherlands even more unforgettable, even if most tourists only visit Amsterdam.
Travelling through the countryside is like travelling through time. It’s a rare chance to explore some breathtakingly beautiful places where time seems to stand still and get a peek into the past of the nation.
The famous windmills from the 18th century can be found in the Dutch province of South Holland, in the village of Kinderdijk. Its water-management system consists of reservoirs and dikes that regulate flooding in the polder (low-lying area), in addition to three pumping stations and nineteen mills. The region is crisscrossed by bike trails, walkways, and waterways that lead to museums as well as the main visitor center.
Additional highlights
Our private tours cover the magnificent Dutch polder landscape with its ribbons of farmland North of Amsterdam. Discover fishing villages dotted with windmills, lakes, dikes and dams. Visit a working windmill, a wooden clog manufactory and a cheese farm!
Join an enchanted journey to the beautiful village of Giethoorn, a fairy-tale village. It is sometimes known as “The Venice of the North” and is a lovely place that can only be reached by boat or foot from the parking area.
Take a guided bike excursion from Amsterdam to see the Dutch countryside. You can either choose a regular bike and a shorter bike route or an electric bike for a longer ride. Explore a variety of UNESCO-listed canals, farmlands, antique windmills, and traditional Dutch landscapes. You’ll also make a detour to taste some Dutch cheese.
Another exquisite tour showcases the political, historical, and regal core of the Netherlands. There are excellent museums, art galleries, and a wealth of history in The Hague (Den Haag). More than two hundred paintings by Dutch and Flemish painters are on show at the renowned Mauritshuis Museum.
The Hague, the administrative capital of the Netherlands, is home to the Dutch royal family and serves as the headquarters for several international organizations. It is situated on the west coast of the country, where there is at least 11 kilometers of sandy coastline. However, aside from that, it’s a great spot to stay, whether you want to see the city or the coastline. Although the people there are proud of who they are, they also have a global perspective.
The canal-ringed city of Delft is well-known around the world for its associations with the Royal House of Orange, Johannes Vermeer, and Delft Blue ceramics. It is home of the Royal Delft Museum. During the visit to the Royal Delft Museum you will learn everything about the history of the Porceleyne Fles. View the historical collection, including the royal collection, and become acquainted with the traditional production process of Delft Blue pottery in the factory.
